About Us

We are a grassroots movement of parents, grandparents, guardians and concerned community members who are committed to protecting the future of California’s six million public school students.

We are NOT a political action committee and are not supported by any special interest group.

However, we ARE a group of voters who have become increasingly concerned with public officials who are balancing the state’s budget on the backs of our children.

Our aim is to orchestrate a statewide mail-in campaign reminding our legislators that we are their constituents and as citizens, parents and taxpayers WE demand that they prioritize and adequately fund our children’s public education.

There are no lobbyists to advocate for students; so it is our responsibility as parents to remind the legislators we elected to focus on the best interests of the children, not the special interests in Sacramento.

In a political age colored by complexity, our message is simple; we are appalled at the disproportionate cuts being made to our state’s educational budget.

Help secure our children’s future by protecting public funding for education. Please join this growing movement.

	Join us in sending our legislators a clear message.
	Contact your representative via phone, e-mail or snail mail and tell them how disappointed you are that a disproportionate dose of cuts have been foisted upon education.

The future of our children and the State of California depends upon our ability to organize and deliver a deafening message to those who allow lobbyists and special interests to save their budgets while our children lose out.

	Catherine Goddard President
	Debra Vaca Treasurer Debra Vaca is a parent of a sophomore at CSU, Long Beach and of a junior at Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove. An interior and landscape designer, Debra has been active at the Elk Grove schools which her children have attended.  As a grandchild of immigrants, Debra believes that education is the single most transformative, empowering thing we can do for our children.
